Applicants must provide proof of at least five years’ experience in an instructional setting or be able to demonstrate that they will have completed at least five years by the time they finish the MSEA and apply for certification.
Applicants who already have a master’s degree and wish to earn a Principal Certification and a Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction certification only may apply to our post-master’s certification program.
To qualify for admission to our post-master’s education certification programs, you must provide:
- Proof you have obtained a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0*
- Official transcripts from every college or university attended
- Completed application form
- A completed Disposition Questionnaire (PDF)
- A professional reference from a superior/supervisor submitted via their email address
- Professional resume
- Two completed supervisory reference forms
- A minimum score of 550 (written), 213 (computer), or 79 (internet) on the TOEFL examination (non-US applications only).
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates with a GPA lower than 3.0 are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- Personal interviews may be required as needed.
- Academic instructional teaching experience.
